LOVE Destination Weddings!  They are so fun, & it seems like everyone is in the spirit of just having fun especially the Bride & Groom.  Jonie & Ed are from California, & had their beautiful Destination Wedding at the JW Marriott.

Jonie & Ed are two of the nicest & sweetest people we have met.  We are so lucky to have met this couple at the Bridal Spectacular, & it seemed like fate that we would be part of each other’s lives.  It was an instant connection once DJ Steffon decided to use the few Filipino words that he knows to woo them over.  Little did he know that they just probably thought, this bald white guy is pretty funny trying to speak Tagalog! LOL!!

We were honored that they chose us to DJ their Ceremony as well.  It was a mix of classical music & Tagalog music to incorporate the Filipino culture.  They started with a Grand Entrance that included a total of 31 people, typical for a Filipino Wedding.  The highlight for us was when Jonie & Ed broke out to short freestyle performance during their Choreographed First Dance to “Baby Got Back” by Sir Mix-A-Lot!  We loved that they let loose & set the tone for the wedding reception that it was going to be a night full of fun.

Jonie & Ed, Happy One Year Anniversary!  We hope that your lives continue to be filled with undying love & happiness.  You both truly deserve it!  Sending lots of love your way!  Thank you for choosing Sound Fusion to be part of your wedding celebration.

Music that “ROCKED” the House:

Grand Entrance for Bridal Party:  ”Now That We Found Love” (Heavy D & the Boyz)

Father/Daughter Dance:   “Sing Me A Song Daddy” (Jose Mari Chan & Cherie Gil)

Brother/Sister Dance:  “Sister” (Dave Matthews Band)  *Even though we didn’t play the song due to last-minute changes, it was an awesome choice!

Thanks to our readers who have waited patiently for us to catch up on blogging past weddings post the creation of the “Sound Fusion Blog.”  Promise, we are working diligently for you to have more weddings to read about.

Lauren & Brad were a blast to work with!  Brad was one of the most involved grooms we have had when it came to music selections, he knew exactly what he wanted to hear at the wedding.  So what do you do with a groom who is in love with music as much as the DJs?  You fulfill his request when he asks you to make a Boy Band Mix just for him!  Hahaha! Right when we think we have done it all for a wedding our clients push our boundaries, & we LOVE it!!

Lauren & Brad “Thank You” simply for just being yourselves!  Sweet, full of life, with a side of Party Animal!  We hope that the two of you are well, living life to the fullest, & are in “Love” more than ever!  XoXo

Becky & Tony are a couple from Michigan who will be having their destination wedding at the Fabulous Four Seasons Hotel.  From the moment we met Becky & Tony it was an instant connection & vibe.  We began to chat as if we were old friends who hadn’t seen each other for years.  We spent almost four hours laughing & chatting about music, the vibe they wanted to create with music, & music we all loved growing up.

We can safely say that this is going to be the type of wedding that Sound Fusion loves.  Their wedding will be a mix of Italian, Chinese, Korean, & Japanese cultures.  The ceremony music choices are from the heart, & are reminiscent of their love for their family & of each other.  The music is going go from soulful music to a Las Vegas Club Vibe (LOVE IT)!!  The soon to be bride is a Hip Hop Instructor who loves to dance, & I love her chic fashion sense.  So we are waiting to be surprised by Tony if he will answer with a Usher kind of fashion swagger.

Becky & Tony “Thank You” for choosing the Sound Fusion DJs to be a part of your wedding.  We have instantly fell in love with the type of people that you are.  We can’t wait to party it up with you!!  XoXo

Dawn had the wedding that most girls dream of.  She was marrying her Best Friend’s Brother!  She would be adding a husband & making it official to call her best friend her sister all in one wedding. Dawn is chic & savvy, & Boomer is laid-back & refined.  Dawn & Boomer compliment each other, & it shows in the photographs taken by Orange Soda Photo.  They are a gorgeous couple!  Their beautiful reception took place at Canyon Gate Country Club, with the help of Shelley Sampson & Staff.

To add to the excitement Jackie (Boomer’s Sister & Dawn’s Best Friend) was also getting married 3 months after their wedding.  Sound Fusion Entertainment was honored to be the chosen DJ for both of their weddings.   It was awesome to be part of both weddings, because by the time we DJ’d for Jackie’s wedding we felt like we knew all the guests.  Stayed tuned for Jackie & Todd’s Wedding Feature…COMING SOON!!

Dawn & Boomer, “Thank You” for making us feel like a part of your family.  Boomer your openness to share allowed me to take a personal journey of healing.  It was confirmation that the sadness I felt from the absence of my father on my wedding day was not in vain.  It would be a connection I would share with other couples getting married who have also lost a parent or loved one before their wedding day, & I would develop ideas of how to incorporate their memory joyfully into their wedding celebrations.  Your wedding day will always hold a special place in my heart.

“Classic Elegance” are the words that come to mind when we first walked into the Four Seasons Hotel for the wedding celebration of Parisa & Ron.  We were truly honored to DJ for this couple.  Their love for each other & for their family was clearly apparent, & it wasn’t hard to feel how loved & adored they were by their family & friends in attendance.

CLM Weddings did an amazing job on this dream wedding.  Candy & Dessert Station, Game Lounge, & A bar adorned in Pittsburgh Steelers Memorabilia, enough said!  We had the privilege to work with some of Las Vegas’ finest wedding professionals:

Enchanted Florists~ Floral

Four Seasons Hotel (Dennis Silknitter)~ Wedding Venue

LOVED this fun-loving couple from the Bay Area.  The Platinum Hotel provided the perfect setting for a Vegas Wedding, & Naakiti Floral did a fabulous job at the very sleek modern lounge floral & decor.    Lori White did her magic with hair & make-up.   The artistry captured behind the lens is from one of best in Las Vegas AltF Photography

Thank you Megan & Lee for being such genuine kind-hearted people.  FUN, even capitalized could not describe how much we enjoyed DJing your wedding.  Your energy, charisma, & down to earth personalities is a “breath of fresh air.”  Many blessings of Love & Happiness to you & your new family.

With Love XoXo,
